Tucked into the hillside of West Vancouver, this custom coach house blends coastal character with contemporary refinement. Every detail was designed to balance modern living with enduring craftsmanship—creating a space that feels both elevated and inviting.
A robust ICF foundation anchors the home with quiet strength, while layered siding, flat-back windows, and cedar-shingled gables introduce warmth, texture, and connection to the primary residence. Thoughtful proportions and natural materials give the exterior its timeless presence and curb appeal.
Inside, a vaulted coffer ceiling and ribbed-glass pendant establish the home’s architectural rhythm. The all-black shaker kitchen becomes a bold centerpiece—paired with white quartz marble counters, warm wood shelving, and an integrated bar-top for everyday gathering. A star-patterned tile feature and arched stove niche add playful personality and heritage charm.
The floor plan was designed for flexibility and flow. The open main level connects kitchen, living, and work zones, while the upper den opens to a balcony and firepit overlooking ocean views. Private rooms below offer a quiet retreat, maximizing comfort and livability within a compact footprint.
